Living at Bymead

Bymeads ethos is a truly home from home atmosphere where the staff are privileged to work within the resident’s home, caring for them. We provide highly professional and exclusive care for the elderly with a personal touch. We have qualified staff and registered nurse on duty 24-hours a day providing full nursing care.

Support & Independence

Bymead House holds regular residents’ meetings to ensure all residents are given a safe space and a voice. Residents can participate and have an active part in arranging activities, changes within menu choices and reflective discussions about the home, covering all departments and care received.

A Home from Home

Each resident’s room provides a ‘home from home’ environment, which allows the individual to personalise their own space with their own personal belongings. Nursing care allows residents to be independent where possible but are supported by staff to their specific care needs. Many of our residents choose this type of accommodation for the excellent nursing care, community atmosphere, and a feeling of being safe and secure.

Respite Care

Caring independently for a loved one can be challenging at times and it is important to choose the right care so you can take regular breaks to recoup. We offer short term residential stays to support carers, and allow them time to rest, confident that their loved one’s individual needs are being cared for by our dedicated staff.
