Bymeads ethos is a truly home from home atmosphere where the staff are privileged to work within the resident’s home, caring for them. We provide highly professional and exclusive care for the elderly with a personal touch. We have qualified staff and registered nurse on duty 24-hours a day providing full nursing care.
Bymead House holds regular residents’ meetings to ensure all residents are given a safe space and a voice. Residents can participate and have an active part in arranging activities, changes within menu choices and reflective discussions about the home, covering all departments and care received.

Bymead House has an extensive activities programme, which is the heart of the home, ensuring wherever possible that our residents can continue to participate and enjoy activities to fulfil their interests and hobbies both past and new.
Bymead holds inhouse activities as well as outside entertainment to include fates and themed events. We encourage the local community to join us wherever possible.

Bymead has its own minibus for trips out that will aid the individual to socialises, enjoy the picturesque local scenery, and participate in local community activities and functions.
Bymead House is also situated in the picturesque village of Charmouth, we are surrounded by the stunning Jurassic coastline. The village has its own beach with Hertiage Coast Centre, coffee shop and ice cream parlour and bakery as well as a couple of convenience shops.
